Custom software development company for US teams

Netnexs Technology is an offshore development team based in Lahore with a Dubai office, building custom software for US startups, agencies and operating businesses. We specialise in Laravel backends, React and Next.js portals and React Native mobile apps, and two of our live products serve customers in the United States.

Hiring an offshore team across a large time difference needs honest planning. This page sets out what we can and cannot promise US buyers, including how we handle the time-zone gap, health-related builds and cross-border contracts.

US products in production

FlasHOLR is an on-demand hauling and moving marketplace live in the US. It connects customers with hauling drivers and helpers through customer and driver mobile apps on iOS and Android, with booking flows for house moves, furniture moves, senior-living moves, office moves and estate sales, plus a built-in marketplace called Flash Shop for secondhand furniture pickup and delivery.

AIRE Health is a physician-curated skincare marketplace for dermatology. Dermatologists build a branded SkinStore of vetted products for their patients, with physician onboarding and identity-verification flows, CMS tooling for product and education content, and a zero-inventory commerce layer with physician revenue share, running on a hybrid PHP stack. It is in production.

Time zones: the honest picture

Lahore is on UTC+5 all year and does not change clocks. Against the US East Coast that is a gap of nine or ten hours depending on daylight saving, and more for the West Coast. A nine in the morning start in New York is early evening in Lahore, so true shared working hours are limited.

We do not pretend otherwise. We cover Gulf and Australian business hours live, and we cover US clients through scheduled calls, typically our evening and your morning. Between calls, work continues while you sleep, which suits many US teams: you review overnight progress with your coffee. You get written updates, weekly working demos and a named lead for escalations. If you need an engineer in your chat all afternoon Eastern time, tell us in the scoping call so we can discuss a shifted schedule on a dedicated team.

HIPAA-aware builds

Health-related products raise specific questions. We build with access control by role, audit logging, encrypted data in transit and at rest where appropriate, least-privilege infrastructure and separate staging environments. Our AIRE Health work includes physician identity-verification flows, which gives us practical experience with sensitive onboarding data.

We do not claim HIPAA compliance or certification, and no software vendor makes a product compliant on its own. If your product handles protected health information, you and your counsel decide how safeguards and any business associate agreement apply, and we build to the technical requirements you set. Please confirm current requirements for your business before design begins.

USD contracts, invoicing and tax paperwork

We contract and invoice in US dollars against milestones. We are FBR-registered in Pakistan and invoice formally, with payment by bank transfer or Wise. The contract and IP assignment are in writing before any work starts, and you own the full source code, infrastructure access and documentation at handover.

US companies paying a foreign contractor often ask for tax forms, and the right ones depend on your situation, so please check with your accountant. A focused MVP is typically an 8 to 14 week fixed-scope build with a written price from the free scoping call, followed by a 30-day post-launch fix window. Ongoing work moves to a monthly retainer or a dedicated team billed per seat.

US payments, tax tools and the way we plug in

Most US products need card payments, subscriptions, marketplace payouts, sales tax calculation and accounting sync. We integrate the standard tools for these jobs, such as Stripe for payments, tax calculation services and common accounting software, and we choose them against your volume, state footprint and finance team preferences. Sales tax rules vary by state, so we keep tax logic configurable and ask your adviser to define it.

Many US clients use us as an extension of an existing team. A dedicated team works in your tools, your tickets and your standups, and scheduled overlap calls are placed to suit your calendar. Agencies and funded startups use this model to add senior Laravel and React capacity without a long hiring process.

Questions buyers ask

How do you handle the time difference with the US?
Lahore is nine to ten hours ahead of the US East Coast, so live overlap is limited to our evening and your morning. We cover US clients through scheduled calls, weekly demos and written updates, and we discuss a shifted schedule for dedicated team engagements.
Are you HIPAA compliant?
No, we do not claim HIPAA compliance or certification. We build with role-based access, audit logging and encryption, and we work to the technical requirements your counsel sets for any protected health information.
Can we contract and pay in US dollars?
Yes. We contract and invoice in USD against milestones, paid by bank transfer or Wise. Check with your accountant which tax forms your company needs when paying a foreign contractor.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do. IP assignment is written into the contract before work starts, and the full source code, infrastructure access and documentation are handed over at delivery.
