The challenge

Schools running reading programs tracked student progress manually, so motivating kids, ranking classes and reporting to parents was slow and inconsistent.

What we built

  • Gamified reading tracker - students log books, chapters, pages and minutes, earning XP for every session
  • Progression system with levels (Story Seeker through Reading Champion), daily goals and streaks
  • Real-time class leaderboards so students can compete with classmates
  • Teacher-configured rewards that students redeem with earned XP, plus teacher-recommended book lists
  • Reading stats and history for teachers and parents; safe, ad-free environment for ages 5-14
